What is the minimum drone size that the system is able to detect?

We should always take into account the type of sensor we use and the distance at which it is situated. Taking the Phantom (from DJI) as benchmark, we are currently achieving the detection of the drone as far as 5000 meters (3.1 miles), identifying and localizing it at 200 meters (0.12 miles).

Is the system able to differentiate between a drone and any other object (such a bird)?

This question only applies for optical and thermal scanners. The rest of our sensors (radio or sonic sensors) are completely immune against noise. Besides, with regards to optic and thermal scanners, our artificial-intelligence-based algorithms are able to distinguish between drones and other objects, thus preventing false positives.

What type of objects can our Drone Hunter system detect?

When talking about drone detection, we refer to an unmanned flying device. Our system goes further, and is also able to detect terrestrial or aquatic “drones”, as well as identifying the fall of elements from the sky, as might be the case of mail packages.

Is there any limitation in the detection ability of the system with respect to the drone's speed?

As usual, that depends on the drone’s weight and distance to it. Put simply, we are able to detect any drone that flies at any speed provided that they are not military drones.

How many drones can the systems detect simultaneously?

One the differentiating features of Drone Hunter is that all its processes, both detection and neutralization, have been designed to cope with what we call “avalanche”, where multiple drones attack collectively.

After detected, how is the drone tracked?

The system generates a unique token for every UAV detected by each sensor. From this point on, the drone will be easily traced by associating each of the multiple detections of a single UAV carried out by each sensor with this drone in particular.

Is it possible to detect all kinds of drones? From fix-wing to multi-rotor drones?

Yes, and this is another advantage of our multiple-detection-technology sensors. Indeed, even if a drone can occasionally evade one type of detection sensor, it won’t be able to do so with our spectrum of scanners.

In the event of a multiple attack, how is information presented to the system operator or security guard?

The system will display on the installation drawing what is the situation and type of drone of each one of the detected threats, as well as the flying altitude, its speed and even a real-time picture of the attacking drone.

What about the maintenance of the system?

The hardware is overdimensioned and, in some cases, replicated so that it is not necessary its substitution or modification as the new improvements in software (sent to you periodically) are released. The system also reports directly to the Drone Hunter Central Station, reporting on performance and on any kind of anomaly. Our support department always stays ahead of the curve, so that any incidence can be properly managed.

How is the system installed? Does it cover the whole perimeter in barrier mode?

It is perfectly possible to install a barrier mode protection. However, we advise and consider to be more secure the coverage of a circular surface around a fixed file on which the detectors are situated.

Is it sensitive to the weather?

Each type of sensor has certain optimal weather conditions and other under which its performance is reduced. However, we enjoy two key advantages. One is that some of the weather conditions that reduce a sensor’s performance are the same that prevent a drone from flying properly (e.g. strong winds). The second one is that there is no circumstance that can interfere at the same time with all the detectors that Drone Hunter integrates, thus staying always active and operational.

Can it be installed on vehicles, such as trucks?

Due to its flexibility, Drone Hunter is designed for all kinds of installations, both regarding the type of industry to protect and the deployment time. With respecto to this last point (deployment time), Drone Hunter can be installed as a:
